This organic cotton t-shirt features a vintage illustration by Mabel Dearmer, a British author, illustrator and pacifist who lived from 1872 to 1915.  The image was published in 1896 in The Savoy, an arts and literature magazine that has been described as "a manifesto in revolt against Victorian materialism."  

As for the image itself, the Dryad is a figure from Greek mythology embodying the spirit of the oak tree.  May a little bit of that earthy spirit will be with you as you wear this tee!
